Hi! I'm Viveret, a Software Engineer at McKinstry in Seattle.
My focus since starting my career has been on large software systems and software architecture, but I am hoping to move into AI and machine learning in the near future. An overview of my work experience
2016 - Current (McKinstry): Enterprise level software solutions to scale business and engineering operations. 2016 (XPRT Hack): XPRT Women's Code-A-Thon challenged me to create a mobile GPU benchmarking program which won 1st place & $2,500. 2015 - 2017 (Mentoring): Open hours for students to get assistance on assigned work or theory. 2011 - 2015 (Suvivor Engine): Starting as a game, a few years of rapid learning and development lead to a general purpose software engine and experience in large software architecture.~Goals for 2018~
- Learn more about AI: I want to open-source my personal assistant AI and see what I can do that current "personal assistant" AIs lack.
- Learn more about HCI: I think it would be neat to design wearable tech. Maybe it's a hat, maybe it's a sleeve, idk. I think we under-utilize our body's biologically evolved advantages in terms of computer interaction.
- Improve Business / Community Skills: I figure with a little book reading, I can develop and pursue some of my backburner opportunities like tutoring, contract work, and personal projects.
